The most beautiful igbo Girl -adandiigbo

Thousands of people watched as Her Majesty Chisom Ibe was crowned Adandiigbo (Most Beautiful Igbo Girl) 2007 on the 18th day of November 2007.

The event which took place at the balmora event place ,ikeja, lagos State , Nigeria. It was truely astonishing and spectacular as the town came alive with dignitaries and tourist who came from far and wide to witness the event. The Paparazzi and Pressmen also made the event the talk of the town.

As Adandiigbo 2007, Chisom Ibe will spend the next year serving as an ambassador for unity and development among the Igbo Society, She would also act as an efficacious antidote to conflict resolutions, youth restiveness, cultism, women trafficking, prostitution, and other vices that constitute a menace to the Igbo Society and Nigeria .

The Grand Finale – This is where the contestants will vie for the crown of Miss adandiigbo! The theme of the pageant will take its cue from the igbo cultural day. There will be three segments for the show: Choreography, Casuals , each contestant comes out to talk about her vision for the igbo people and Nigeria as a whole the lives she intends to touch and the value she will add in making the world a better place. THERE WILL BE NO SWIMSUIT OR BIKINI SEGMENT! , Evening Gown – The ideal attire in which to be crowned. The contestants will however send a message that the pageant would probably be the last time they intend to put on a gown as the winner intends to discard the gown for work clothes fit for addressing social and cultural issues.
